TESLAChair

What is TESLAChair?

The Tesla Chair is a non-invasive pelvic floor treatment that uses high-intensity electromagnetic stimulation to activate and strengthen deep pelvic and core muscles. While you sit comfortably and fully clothed, the chair delivers targeted energy that causes thousands of powerful supramaximal muscle contractions in one session, far beyond what can be achieved with standard Kegel exercises. These contractions help retrain weakened muscles, improve neuromuscular control, and restore functional strength.

It is commonly recommended for stress or urge urinary incontinence, pelvic floor weakness after childbirth, reduced core stability, mild pelvic organ prolapse support, and even certain types of pelvic or lower back discomfort linked to poor muscle support. The treatment is painless, requires no downtime, and sessions usually last around 20–30 minutes. A course of treatments (often 6–8 sessions) is typically advised for optimal and longer-lasting results.

What to Expect During Your Tesla Chair Treatment

Your treatment is completely non-invasive and performed while you remain fully clothed. You’ll sit comfortably on the Tesla Chair, and the device will deliver targeted electromagnetic stimulation to the pelvic floor and deep core muscles. Each session takes approximately 20–30 minutes.

During the treatment, you’ll feel strong but controlled muscle contractions. There is no pain, no needles, and no downtime. Most clients describe the sensation as unusual at first, but not uncomfortable. The intensity can be adjusted throughout the session to ensure you remain comfortable.

TESLAChair for Back Pain

The TESLAChair treatment is a painless, non-invasive and effective therapy for problems in the lower back area. The treatment stimulates muscles, and accelerates circulation without direct contact with the skin. The therapy procedure is simple, and the patient does not require special preparation. During the therapy the patient simply sits in the chair. Stimulation of the lower back can be accurately targeted by changing the position of the applicator in the chair backrest.

TESLAChair for Incontinence

The TESLAChair was developed for treating weakened pelvic floor muscles and urinary incontinence using the special Functional Magnetic Stimulation (FMS) technology. The pulsed magnetic field generated by the device causes the muscles of the pelvic floor to contract. This therapy is suitable for all kinds of urinary and faecal incontinence. FMS also helps patients with sexual dysfunction and chronic pain in the pelvic region and lumbar spine. The magnetic stimulation results in increased strength and endurance of pelvic region and pelvic floor muscles.

FAQ

How many sessions do I need?

Most clients require a course of 6–8 sessions (more in some cases), typically performed twice per week, to achieve optimal and longer-lasting results. Some individuals may notice improvement earlier, however pelvic floor strengthening is cumulative and builds over time. Maintenance sessions every few months may be recommended depending on your condition and lifestyle factors.

Which metals are safe to treat with the Tesla Chair?

Metal that is located away from the pelvic and lower back region is generally safe, including dental fillings, crowns, and most surgical hardware in distant areas of the body. However, metal implants within the pelvis or lower spine, implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers or neurostimulators, and certain pelvic surgical mesh are contraindicated. A thorough medical consultation is conducted prior to treatment to ensure safety.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please wear comfortable clothing such as leggings, soft pants, or activewear. Avoid thick denim, heavy fabrics, or clothing with metal components around the pelvic area. You will remain fully clothed during treatment, but empty pockets and remove phones or metal objects before sitting.

How does the treatment feel?

You will feel strong, rhythmic muscle contractions in the pelvic floor and core muscles. The sensation is similar to intense Kegel or abdominal exercises. It is not painful, and the intensity can be adjusted to ensure your comfort throughout the session.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime required. You can return to normal daily activities immediately after your session. Some clients may experience mild muscle soreness similar to a workout, which typically resolves within 24–48 hours.

Who is not suitable for treatment?

Tesla Chair treatment is not suitable for individuals who are pregnant, have implanted electronic devices, active pelvic infections, recent pelvic surgery without clearance, severe prolapse, or certain neurological or bleeding disorders. A medical screening will determine your eligibility before commencing treatment.
