What is Q-Switched Laser?

Q-Switched laser is a non-invasive skin treatment that delivers very short, high-energy pulses of light into the skin to selectively break down unwanted discoloration and uneven tone while leaving the surrounding tissue largely unaffected. The rapid pulse creates a photoacoustic effect, meaning the targeted areas absorb the energy and fragment into tiny particles, which are then naturally cleared away by the body over time. Because the energy is delivered in such brief bursts, the skin experiences minimal thermal damage, making the treatment precise and associated with little downtime. It is well suited for individuals looking to improve uneven skin tone, sun damage, melasma, dullness, and overall skin clarity, and is generally safe for a wide range of skin types.

Laser Genesis

Laser Genesis is a gentle, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatmen safely heats the deeper layers of the skin. This controlled dermal warming stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen, enhances microcirculation, and reduces inflammation, all while leaving the skin surface intact. Because it works gradually and does not ablate or damage the outer layer, the treatment is comfortable, often described as a warm sensation, with little to no downtime. It is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and darker skin tones, and is ideal for clients looking to improve redness, rosacea, fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture, dullness, and mild acne. With a series of treatments, skin becomes smoother, clearer, and more radiant, with progressive improvement over time rather than dramatic peeling or recovery. or best results, a series of 4–6 treatments spaced about 2–4 weeks apart is typically recommended, with maintenance sessions every few months to sustain results.

Carbon Laser

Carbon Laser, often known as the Hollywood Peel, is a non-invasive skin treatment performed in combination with a medical-grade liquid carbon mask. The carbon is applied to the skin where it penetrates into the pores and binds to oil, debris, and impurities. The laser energy is then passed over the area, gently heating and vaporising the carbon particles along with the attached impurities, while also delivering controlled thermal stimulation into the dermis. This process exfoliates the skin, refines pores, reduces excess oil production, and stimulates collagen for smoother, clearer skin.It is suitable for most skin types, particularly those experiencing oily or congested skin, enlarged pores, acne-prone skin, dullness, and uneven texture. The treatment is comfortable with minimal downtime, making it ideal before events. For optimal results, a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 2–4 weeks apart is generally recommended, with maintenance sessions as needed to maintain clarity and brightness.

Laser Toning

Laser toning is a gentle, non-invasive treatment performed using  a low-fluence, repetitive pulse mode to gradually improve overall skin clarity and tone. Instead of delivering aggressive heat, the laser energy is administered in controlled, subtle pulses that help break down excess discoloration while stimulating mild collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. Because the energy levels are lower and delivered progressively, the treatment is safe for most skin types, including darker skin tones, with minimal discomfort and little to no downtime. It is particularly suitable for clients concerned with uneven skin tone, melasma, sun damage, dullness, and overall skin brightening. Over a series of treatments, the complexion becomes clearer, more luminous, and more even. For best results, 6–10 sessions spaced 1–2 weeks apart are typically recommended, as results build gradually and safely over time.

Hair Reduction

Laser hair reduction is a safe and effective treatment designed to permanently reduce unwanted hair growth over time. The laser emits controlled pulses of light that are absorbed by the pigment within the hair follicle. This energy converts to heat, selectively damaging the follicle and disrupting its ability to regrow hair, while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. Because the 1064 nm wavelength penetrates deeper and bypasses much of the surface pigment, it is particularly suitable for darker skin tones and can be used safely on most skin types. It is ideal for areas such as the face, underarms, bikini, legs, and back, and is suitable for clients wanting long-term hair reduction, fewer ingrown hairs, and smoother skin. As hair grows in cycles, a series of 6–8 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended for optimal results, with occasional maintenance sessions if needed.

FAQ

How does laser hair reduction work and how many treatments do I need?

A course of laser treatments can significantly reduce hair growth. The ideal candidate to obtain the best results would have darker, course hair and a fair complexion. During the treatment, the hand piece is held against the skin and the pulses of light are delivered at a setting that targets melanin. The bulb of the hair follicle is where the most melanin is located, so this is where the light is absorbed. The bulb and hair shaft are heated to a point which destroys the hair-producing papilla. Generally, clients will require 6-8 treatments and these treatments are conducted 4-6 weeks apart. The treatments will not totally eliminate all hair in the area treated.
